Well, one minute it's Monday and the next, it's Thursday! Fancy that! I have been busy this week working on a new and exciting project that I'm looking forward to sharing with you soon.
Until then here's how my week has looked, (with a few carboot sale treasures included..)
Amazing colours in this tangle of wool and crepe paper.
Also loving the primary colours and graphic shape of the cars on this vehicle transporter.
Willo The Wisp? Yes! And just saying Thoughts of Moog is guaranteed to raise a giggle from Iris every time. Thoughts of Moooooooooooooog!
A pearl bow. How very fancy.
The bluebell carpet in the woods behind our house.
Freshly cut lilac, smells like vanilla ice cream.
An apple-y pot for pens perhaps?
Flowers picked from The Field (our allotment).
Carnival of The Animals - HMV Junior Record from 1963
Beautiful illustration, no?

thanks for cheering me up nath ,just got another show rejection (bummer) ....but this is lovely . I fully expect you to appear out of the bluebell photo with a 1970.s pre-raephelite dress on , looking all wistfull and melodramatic!
Our bluebells are going back a bit , I am willing them to wait a little longer so my mum can see them tommorow.....Yes the record illustration is great ,the duck egg blue and black and white stripes are a great composition, with the drawings ...nice find !
you always find the best things! agree about the colors of the transporter!
I think you must be an amazing carboot hunter. check out http://thefabricofmylife.blogspot.com/
