Bally, Oh.

I have a large inspiration file on my desktop which I fill with random pictures that bring me joy in some way. Who doesn't?

Anyway, periodically I go through them and gasp and swoon and fiercely want all over again. I was doing this earlier and came across these two beautiful framed Bally posters. From Design Sponge and this amazing sneak peek.

And I thought, 'Right, I'm going to find one (or two) of these and buy it (them), right NOW!' And a short hop and a skip, found me here at this
place and lo, there they were right there. Yippee and whoo! And then I saw how much. $1000 Australian dollars! Each! Gulp. Needless to say I am Bally Poster-less. I wish it wasn't so.

Ah, so many beautiful and groovy posters here, what about...

This one?

Or this one?

Definitely this one.

I guess they'll just have to go in my inspiration folder instead. Siiigh.

I love these too - with a big sigh. The Bally ones I saw at this shop were huge so to get them framed would be another big spend - will just have to make do with the postcard version stuck on the fridge...

The posters are lovely, I wonder what they were used for, shop display I guess? I hope you eventually luck out and find some of your own!

Thank you so much for the lovely awards. I really am very, very grateful and it's fantastic knowing that my blog is appreciated! With that in mind I hope you don't mind that I'm not going to post them on my blog because I'm super fussy about what gets posted on it. Not that I dislike the awards in any way, I think they're great, it's just I like to keep my posts sort of minimal. I really hope this doesn't sound rude, and thank you so much again.

Oh that sucks – hate when you finally manage to track something down and it turns out to be so expensive! I think my inspiration folder is more like a wish list... things I would love but cannot afford! ;)
