Glorious October

A truly lovely day today, all blue skies and very sunny indeed.

We've been getting into the rhythm of Autumn days, making bread and soup and going for a walk in the woods with a friend. I'm grateful for days like this.

Can you see the sea?

I also collected my new newly-fired plates, it was a bit hit and miss. Which was kind of disappointing, but, happily, the plates that did make it, have turned out rather beautifully. Photographic evidence to follow!

Iris played dressing up this afternoon. Such sweet fun. She's a queen don't you know?

Oh! And you can see my contribution for this week's Desk Thursday on flickr.

Looking forward to seeing the plates! And yes, think we were very near Bridport, and that Mum and Dad may even have visited it once I had returned to London,. Oh well, next time!
