Random Summer Snapshots

Long and proper days of summer. The same beach on two different days. Pimms. A takeaway curry on the beach. Strawberries, suncream and sand. Another flea. Carefree days and late nights. And so it has felt like being on holiday, even just for a day or an afternoon or an evening - quite magical. It's raining today though. But I don't mind, everything could really do with a drink. But I hope the sun comes back soon! What has been your favourite summery thing to do?

Beautiful photos, especially the beach ones.
We're enjoying the start of summer here, the kids live in the pool and the cicadas are chirping away. It's hot and feels as if school is over already.

Loving these images Nath ... my summer heaven is walking the dog through the empty early morning woods. The cool air and dappled light is almost drinkable.

OMG I want to dive right in to your photos and live there. Won't you let me? Is that a couple of vintage patterns I spy there? Sighs dreamily...

Now that summer finally seems to have arrived , I'm just loving every hot , lazy second . Cycling to work along the canal , admiring the boats . Eating cherries . And , of course , Flea Markets .

Ooh the sunshine, the china and the strawberries! Wish the sunshine would come back; it's been tipping it down here since yesterday!

Favourite summer thing to do? Lie in the park and take pics of squirrels! ;)
