To distract myself, I have been sifting through my work old and new, piecing together ideas and inspiration for the new project that I hinted at previously. Which I will be sharing soon, soon, soon. Being rawther nosy, I like looking at other people's sketch books and workings, do you?
What's the best antidote to grey, grey, windy, rainy, dark days, do you think? I need help!

Comfort food, woolly socks, gentle music and a little bit of creationing - crafting, arting etc. I'm sorry about the grey - it's lovely and sunny here.
Oh - and love your wee triangles.
Oh they look like a fine set of images. I particularly like the cross-hatched flowers. I do love a bit of cross-hatching.
Hi Nath,
Your artwork is gorgeous! I love the hand-drawn black and white flowers - a lovely textile design in the making.
Lovely art work.
Music is always the best antidote.

Lovely pictures!
We have a grey and dark day here, too. This morning I got up quite early, put on some very warm clothes and went to the market. I bought some twigs and funny looking thistles and a whole basket of vegetables (for a soup I'll cook this evening). It's been a good start for this day and it helped me to deal with the rest of it...:-)
I LOVE grey days, and right now there is nothing better than being home playing with Milo, even though I have an allergy to his sheepskin mats and bear!
Like the London report... it's always fun to see where I spend a lot of my time through someone else's eyes!
Loving those triangles so muchly :) K
Good question. I would say chocolate. Or keep doing what you're doing and finding beautiful inspiration through other's work.
This week was magnificent. Blue skies and all. Today it's cold and rainy. BOOOO!
SOUP !! And a big dish of vegetables roasting slowly in the oven .
And definitely , for me at least , a vague quilt idea that involves piling fabric up in satisfying piles to play with ....
I love getting to peek at other people's sketchbooks and workings. These rather cheered me up on a grey day in themselves! Otherwise, I would recommend watching the TV from the bath (if logistically possible) or assembling what I like to call 'a cheeseboard on a stick'.
I try to get out and stare at the sky for a little bit while it's light :-) it helps a little.
Hot bath... hot chocolate... hot water bottle... hot cat... and a boxset or two. (Basically sort of hibernating is my theory!)
Love the first triangles so much – very cool :)
