The Eighteenth Day of May

Nine years ago today, I went out for cocktails with this man and I never came back. Thank you darling for this wonderful adventure, our life together is truly sweet.

The eskimo kiss, the hinting shadows, that hand gently holding your hand, the careless way the breeze picks up chiffon and tosses it about, the question mark over where you are both going in your very best - all youth and shiny skin. It all brings a happy catch to my throat.

Raising a glass to the next nine years.

hello everyone,

thank you all so much for your glad tidings and sweet comments!

how i wish i could think of an occasion to wear that extraordinary dress again, it's from the 1930s and my dear friend Jessica found it for me.

do you know, i have no recollection of what we drank that night, we spent a lot of time giggling and kissing. ha!
