Yes, there's something about the shoes. Lined up like that, they look so brave and fun and somehow helpless. It's a great photo, and indeed a fine selection of images. Thanks for your kind wishes (I'll be plying my 4 year advantage) and much happiness to you this year.

Just seen this post... been so inconsistent in looking at people's blogs lately...
And the shoes! I remember the shoes! I was so going to do a similar thing with shoes – but it was at the same time as doing up the bathroom. How time flies!!
