The Colours of Autumn

Everything has turned all kinds of golden! Lovely Autumn! Here's a peek at my last few days.

Stripy beets ready to be roasted.

Bright tights, coat & best shoes for strolling round London.

Peachy, gold and orange-y tulips on the way to hunt down pizza for lunch (still in London).

Cool autumn morning with tea and cake at Violet. Quite the nicest cafe I have been to in a long time. The cakes were so good they were devoured pretty much instantaneously. And, me being a silly goose, got too shy to ask to take some photographs inside. If you can, GO!

Hastily carved pumpkin that garnered many appreciative ooh and aahs from Iris. I wish however, it was a bit more Martha Stewart (if you are of a nervous and insecure disposition, don't torture yourself by looking, there are all kinds of perfection waiting to torment you) and a little less shonky.

Happy Halloween! Oh no, oops, it's now the 1st November!

Wow. It's funny - I've started a project this week posting vivid colour as an antidote to the winter greys. This post is joyous! That tight/shoe colour combination is the best ever. Thanks for cheering a slightly misty grey Monday morning.

I am dying to get to Violet... I love their cakes and always buy too many from their stall at Broadway Market.
