There's not much new to say about Autumn. Ah, but when it's good, it's really good. We worked at the field on Saturday afternoon. Putting beds to bed ready for next Spring. And sowing garlic for a winter's crop. It was so nice being outside. The sun was high and golden and the sky, that particular shade of blue you associate with fine Autumn days.
Just before we set off home, I chased the last of the sun and this is what I saw...
What's your favourite thing to do on a glorious Autumn day?

sweet blog, love your banner and these photographs are stunning
A perfect autumn day for me is going for a walk ending up at the pub. Autum is so inspiring, it's just gorgous when the suns out but there's a chill in the air, love it. Red wine goes down a treat too!
Great photographs, I love autumn so much most of all on days like this. So hope this lovely weather lasts!! Such a lovely blog. Xx
I don't think you can beat a long walk on an autumns day. All wrapped up warm and enjoying the sun. Then maybe a takeaway hot chocolate, hehe! xx
ps. your pictures are beautiful, what camera do you use?x
Aah love the light in these, I also like to get outdoors when the weather is like this, walking to the top of Primrose Hill or across the Heath, anywhere really to feel the sun on my skin and counter the weekdays spent in an artificially lit office!
Hi, so sorry, I kept meaning to add that link but ultimately I forgot! The sewn picture is by this lady:

It's amazing isn't it? I'd love to be able to buy one of her pieces some day.
My favourite thing to do on an Autumn day is anything but writing essays, which is all I seem to be doing right now!
Love the sun shining in these pics! My favourite autumn day is a walk to the modern art museum – via the water of leith – and then a scone and a cuppa to warm up one we're there :)

Hi Nath
I love eating a really hot cornish pasty outside of Huddersfield Market hall under the blossom tress whilst they shed there leaves and looking up at the beautiful 60's wall murals that decorate the hall.
I really am impressed with the Calendular photo, the colours are so vibrant.
