So, here are a few beautiful images from books we're into right now.
The Little Green Steamroller From Tales of Magic and Make Believe, published by Rainbow Books, 1974.
Elephant and dog-riding children from Pear-Shaped Hill by Irving A Leitner, illustrated by Bernice Myers.
Arrows and exuberant colour from Gravity Is A Mystery by Franklin M Branley, illustrated by Don Madden, published by A and C Black Ltd, 1971.
All sweetness from Good Morning by Dick Bruna, published by Methuen, 1983. I just can't stop loving Dick Bruna.
Groovy patterns from Shape, published by MacDonald Educational, 1970.
I'm pretty crazy about this book right now, as you might imagine.

Love those illustrations - especially the crayon elephant!
LOVE 'em! Especailly "Gravity is a Mystery" with the pink and gold planet. Soooo 70s!!!!...for the longest time, having grown up in the 70s, I was not interested in the design/colors/aesthetic. But now, I love it! Nostalgia...
Loving the elephant pics – your book posts are always so fab :)
I love the circus picture. There is something about it that is just so magical.
