Plate Update, Weekend Finds and Shop News

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty busy and fun too!

Friday night, I made five new plates...

I particularly like the look of the decal overlapping the existing floral pattern.

On Saturday, we went to the market, bought lots of delicious summery fruit including the best cherries I've eaten all year. And we also watched amazing bmx boys on a ramp in the main street, Iris was totally rapt.

On Saturday night, we went to see this
dude, with his pared down acoustic sort-of folk, punk, alt country-ish vibe, he was funny, very entertaining and rather handsome. And excitingly, P J Harvey joined him onstage for an impromptu and spine-tingling number, it's always a treat. Then Sunday brought such great carbooting, we managed to fit in two and that made me feel very happy and, finally, supper at a house facing the sea, a perfectly lovely end. Just look at all that sky...

So, here's a little peek at my finds from the weekend (most of which will be heading over to the shop this week) but until then, I have just hung up a few vintage dresses in the etsy branch of le petit boutique, see anything you like?

Where was that gig? How come I'm never around when PJ does impromptu numbers? I just have to be content with a little jostling in the herb tea section when she pops into Naturalife....

I love the translucent decal on the rose plate and the combination of flat-ish colour and tumbling blocks design. It's a great seam you're working there - Terence Conran look out.
