Bonfires & Birthdays

Hello. Has it been a while? My mind has been elsewhere along with the rest of me. I had a birthday! I turned the grand old age of 36. Which strangely I like the sound of, better than 35. Can't say for sure why.

I also haven't been taking many photographs. Can't say for sure why.

We had a bonfire at the field on Saturday. We also pressed some apples to make juice. But I don't have any photographs of that bit. See what I mean? *Distracted*

I'm having a bit of a solo jolly up to London tomorrow. The plan is to gather some inspiration, you know just looking and walking and thinking. It should be fun. I'll let you know.

So, tell me what does your week hold? All possibilities?

and happy birthday! i liked 36 too, it's mature but still girlie. i'm now 37, that's suddenly late 30s, not so good. x

Great bonfire by the way...
hope you have found lots inspirations in good old London, I'll go this Sunday to see the Midcentury Modern Show and possibly the textile exhib of Bourgeois.

Happy (belated!) birthday to you! I too have an inexplicable liking for the number 36. I think it's because of the way that the numbers snuggle up to each other...

Love these photos, especially the first two with the orange-gold against the darkening blue sky. Just about to read your jaunt to London posts, hope it was fun1
