New In The Shop & More!

I have added a few new things to the shop - take a look and better still, buy it all. Not that I'm being bossy or owt.

In other news, I have been out for a walk searching for signs of Autumn. Yes, there is a tiny bit of Autumn. Can't wait for full all-colour woodland displays!

What else? Well, I watched Iris climb very high in a tree.

We played dress-up with her dolls.

And I got some parcels ready to post..

How has your first week of October been?

Drrrrrrumroll!

Firstly, thank you all so much for your comments, especially all for the nice things you said about my print & collage, *tickled pinkish*

And so, after much folding of bits of paper, the winners of my giveaway are *aforementioned drumroll*

The monochrome block-print goes to...!

And the green and red collage goes to...!

Apologies for the wonky photographs, Iris was full of bounce and impossible to keep still(ish). Blimey, you should see the outtakes!

Elisabeth and Deborah, will you send me an email with your addresses and I'll send them on their way to you!

That Was The Week

Almost October, how did that ever happen? I didn't mean to leave it a week before doing a blog, but that's what's happened. Here's a look at what I have been doing. Tell me something about your week!

Block-printed labels for some of my plates, they're heading off to an exciting new stockist - more on that soon!

I've been doing some {lots} more block printing. Tell me, would you buy one of these? If it was nicely mounted ready for framing? You have all said lots of very nice things about the one I am giving away. And no, it seems my love for triangles will never abate.

Look! It's summer on my desk - I ordered some prints of some of the photographs I took over this summer, it was nice to see them all as physical objects instead of just on a screen.

We marched on Portland to oppose the proposed building of a bio-fuel plant that would increase Britain's consumption of palm oil by one third thus exacerbating climate change, destroy many hectares of rain forest which would in turn hasten the extinction of orangutans and leave many indigenous people homeless. You can read more about it here.

A beautiful red-haired girl at the vintage market. I am still hankering after red locks.

A lovely warmy pair of slippers I found for Iris in a charity shop for the princely sum of £1. They make her jump just like a bunny.

p.s. You still have til the end of the day to enter my giveaway, then I'll announce the winners tomorrow!

oh hello, it's a *GIVEAWAY*!!

Okay, so *finally*, here's the giveaway that I have been promising.

*dramatic pause for effect*

You can choose between an original geometric collage or block print, both of which have been created by my own fair hand, both of which are nicely mounted & ready for framing.

The block prints are something I have just started doing and I am quite pleased at the way they have turned out. I will also throw in a few mystery vintage goodies too.

All you have to do is leave a comment below stating which one you would like and I'll pick a winner at random next Wednesday. To get more than one chance, you can tweet it or mention it on your blog or become a follower if you're not already or all of the above! Just let me know so I can keep a track. How does that sound? Well, alriiiiiiiiight! Good luck!
